Caller: Charity contracted call centre Another charity call centre agency with a sob story trying to lever my decency for a donation. They didn't even know my name or where I lived. After this I won't be buying even 1 raffle ticket in future because that's how they got my number. Looking at my phone records I notice many missed calls/no messages from similar numbers.

Caller: Australian Public Outreach? Calling on behalf of a charity/charities I may or may not have shown an interest in at some stage. Only called to check who as I was waiting on a call from an embassy - which could have called from various numbers unknown to me. Otherwise I wouldn’t have cared who it was from. My golden rule is: If I don’t know the caller, and/or they can’t be bothered leaving a message to identify themselves, I don’t answer. If we all did that, I think it would put a dent in things for these annoying callers.
