Calling me mum so definitely a spam call, trying to get me on whatsapp

Scammer sent me below message:

Hi mumm/dad I lost my phone I can not reply on text only on What'sApp to this number send me a text on whatsapp 0482 073 140

This is a scam text/call. These d*cks sent my elderly mother a text with this message:
"Hi mum I'm using a friends phone I have broken mine can you message my new whatapp 0482 073 140 asap bit of an emergency x". f*ckers caused her considerable stress. I suggest you report, delete, block. Cheers.

Caller: Indian / Paki scammer / terrorist

Scamming money claiming to be child of parent with their old phone smashed, hence stating to WhatsApp this number
