Received following text from this number 0482 071 409 on my Optus mobile at 1606 hours on 1 December 2025 - "Hi (my name) Do you have an email address"
Did not reply as first I googled number online and discovered it's a well known scammer number. Reported, blocked, deleted.

Message received stating
'Mum and Dad I have changed from provider this will be my new number. Can you send me a text back when you have received this text'
Well this is truly a miracle as either my mum and dad have returned from beyond the grave or I have children that I never knew of! SCAMMERS after your data, number BLOCKED and DELETED
