SCAM!!
Just received an SMS from "PayPal" 0481 973 850) saying "You attempted a Transaction of AUD 5000. 00 on your account with Unknown Device, Is this you? If not, Call 1800 271 018 Immediately to cancel payment".
Logged into my PayPal account and there is no record or alert for said attempted transaction.

Caller: Scammer text Received a text supposedly from PayPal saying I just paid $1790 to Global consultancy and it’ll apprear on my bank shortly. If any dispute call 1800 271 011. So fake number, fake message from PayPal, and I’m pretty sure that number in the message would be a scammer too! 🚩BEWARE🚩 SCAM 🚩
