Robot call, recorded message trying to get me to invest in shares. Blocked.

no message left. i didnt pick up. i have been receiving many calls lately.

Called landline 4.03am - left vmail saying Please Press 2 Now

Received call today from this number. No VM left. As per above, assumed to be spam. Blocked.

My Samsung Phone displayed a "Potential Fraud" as caller id so I didn't answer it. Message left was "Or if you'd like to be removed from our database please press two now" So I blocked the number!

Caller: Some scumbag

I was expecting a call but was away from the phone so didn't pick up: No message left. I rang back but the call kept failing. Now blocked after reading these posts.

Pre-recorded message beginning with, "Investment stocks recommended by industry..." At that point, I hung up and blocked the number.

Went to voicemail. Only part of automated message left. Scammer

3am call.. totally insane

How is it that Optus / Telstra allows a bunch of their Australian numbers (like this) to be used for inbound calls but when we call back the line is dead or disconnected. If we cannot make the callers accountable then telcos needs to be.

I reported this as a scam.. Press 77 on messaging 101 ... Reports them as a scam

I always ignore numbers I don't know. Called at 8am, didn't leave a message. From others it sounds like a scammer, glad I ignored.

Same as other notes, called at an early hour before sunrise. I want to find out who this is. For once it had a local-sounding accent, so should be possible to find and register a complaint against. I'm on the do not call register and this caller didn't check that

Rang at 1.40am - we didn't answer.
