have had various calls, from this number ,never answer unknown numbers , figure if genuine they will leave a message.

It does this to keep you on the line, Scammers want you to call back the missed number so that they can charge you at a premium rate. The longer that they can keep you on the phone, the more money they can make from you so they put you on a diversion loop or call attendant that will just keep you on hold forever

Asked for wife by name. Claimed to work as a volunteer for SES (DFES), 'running their magazines'. Claimed to be calling from 'Head Office, Perth'. Sounded 'dodgy'. Contacted DFES and reported incident.

Possible scam claiming to be Tony from SES Perth WA
