Left a message he said “Hi Andrea this is your mate Elijah.......” then it cut off......I don’t know anyone called Elijah didn’t bother ringing back

I just got a call from this number stating he was acting on behalf on the government in reducing my household power costs.
He had my full name, address and of course my mobile number..where from i would love to know.
How he got this information must be illegal and i would love to know how this could be sent to the powers that be.
He spoke in Australian accent and i would say sounded mid 20s.

Call regarding renewable energy and a $4000 Government grant . Told the loser Im at work and not interested . He then said "well if you want to put up with someone calling you every day thats up to you " I told him its called blocking numbers and terminated the call . Call back a few mins later from a private number which I answered due to having a family member unwell in hospital and it was him ! Said "you cant block a private number so you will be called every day" Harassment or what ! I wish I had taken notice of the company the jerk called from .........

The person said he is (name) which is the same as my husband. Then the call cut off and when I called back it’s just the message bank. If you receive call from them remember do not say “yes” just in case the are recording.

Phoned on my mobile. Claimed to be from Renewable Energy and my number had “popped up” that I owned my house and I was eligible for a $4000 solar grant. Tried to get me to commit to having someone come around next week for a 45 minute assessment of what I’d need to have installed. Told him I wanted to “research” about it first. I asked whether there was a website- he gave names sounding as though government sites. Still tried to get me to agree to a someone coming to my house. I repeated I wanted to research first. I ended call. Tried researching- no such grant, no such web sites, and no such company he claimed to be from. BEWARE DO NOT LET ANYONE ON YOUR PROPERTY CLAIMING SOLAR REBATE... SCAM ALERT 🚨

I answered, young male, sounded to be in his 20s, said “Hi, is this (insert my name)” I said yeah? And he immediately hung up. Hung up before I even finished getting the word “yeah” out of my mouth.

Claimed to be from somewhere stating I was eligible for a $4000 renewable energy grant from the government. Hung up on me when I said I no longer owned my home. What a wanker

Rang at 5.30pm and didn't leave a message. Been getting these phones calls since sending a parcel to NZ and had to put phone number on customs form on outside of parcel.

Tried calling back several times went straight to a message bank. Then saw all these comment , Glad they didn't answer.

Hung up abruptly when I told him we no longer owned our house, after I listened to his spiel and was polite - very rude.

Called and did not leave message. Number has now been blocked.

Guy saying something about $750 from government and my house. Asked him what he was meaning, line went blank. Think Scam.
