I got this message today from this number. Not sure if it’s a scam or real but I will be asking the police about it.

It’s definitely a scammer. I got the same message and I’m a lawyer and an Officer of the Court and these text messages are very very fake

The Social Research Centre used to be (semi-)legit, but this rather threateningly worded message could be from scammers just using the name to fool you. Impossible to tell from the message, so best to avoid, report, block. When will they ever learn?

Text message about Social Research Centre appears to be NOT SCAM or SPAM.
Checking out website verifies the phone number they used.
The Social Research Centre has contacted me before, several years ago.

Looks like the scam has re-surfaced. I have deleted and blocked number.

Legitimate survey company. They do not phrase their messages very well so it looks like a scam.

Ask yourself, why would Police call you to answer a survey on behalf of any research center? They wouldn't.

I got this msg too laughed and blocked it straight away and have advised everyone i know to bloc this number

SCAM. None has authority to call "on behalf of the police"

Received the same message same as above, saying that from Police.

Received an SMS only. My phone number is unlisted.
Block & delete. I do not reply or answer my phone unless I know the caller 🙅‍♀️

I got this same text message also and it's August 22. Why are these ppl still getting away with this? asking to press 1, press 2 etc... who knows what will happen if someone does fall for it. Local police know the statistics in your area...
