These people call everyday and the last 3 numbers change

Number calls continuously. Comes up as warning suspicious by telco. Doesn’t leave a message.

Caller: 0480 804 706

Firstly, thank you to reverseaustralia for having this website here - it is fantastic how we can get a better idea of whether a call might be a scam etc.

For us, this number '0480 804 706' is a Scam caller. They called my son 3 times to lure him to switch phone providers to an unknown mobile provider - the call was of course 'unsolicited'. If you call this number, it cannot be connected - so don't bother calling the number back. It is a one way caller and is probably a 'Spoofed' number. My son has had two other numbers starting with '0480 80x xxx' call him too and they too have tried the exact same scam - also calling 3 times so far.

Worryingly, they somehow knew my teenager's name even though my son's number is silent. He told them he is not interested and asked them not to call again - but they do call again.

The numbers starting with 0480 are owned by PIVOTEL SATELLITE PTY LIMITED and if you suspect it is a scam or unsolicited, then it is worthwhile also reporting other than here on this great reverseaustralia website.

Before you block and delete the number and the record of them calling from your phone, and should you wish to report them too......well, on the PIVOTEL short online form they will need to know the date/s and time/s the number has called so they can zone way quicker in on and investigate the scammer.

For us, the mobile number is now reported to PIVOTEL - BLOCKED - and also DELETED. It really does help if everyone wondering who this number was that called them, could take 2 minutes to report the scammer to PIVOTEL.

Ring me 2-3 times everyday, no answered, no message left

They keep calling and hanging up. I try to call back but the number is disconnected.

I've received calls from similar numbers! Very annoying and it never stops. Sometimes it's 3-4times a day. These companies just don't realise cold calling is wasting company resources.

Keeps calling with no answer from their end, I block them but it still generates another number with the last 3 digits changed waste of time and very annoying.

get called at least 4 time a week for the last 3 weeks, sometimes twice a day. refuse to answer as the number is flagged as suspicious number. I get too many spam calls lately

Caller: Compare Electricity prices

Asked to speak to the person who pays the electricity bill. Said they worked for "Compare Electricity" prices. Said not interested and they hung up. Also comes up as a "Suspicious Calling pattern" number.

Calls regularly, ii don't answer, they don't leave messages.

Same as others. Number keeps calling. Sometimes last three digits change. Doesn’t leave a message. Phone identifies it with a suspicious calling pattern.

Had this number come through several times recently
