Female voice alleges 2 unauthorised purchases on my acct. One low price (under $20) & another high price - $1200. Then told to press #1 or #2 ... Depending on if I wanted to confirm it was okay or to speak to someone.

I hung up.

When I answered it went to a robo call advising that my bank account has 2 suspicious transactions. Then continue to ask for name and date of birth to confirm who I was…

I thought they were lying, so I did too. I told the caller that I had to warn them, they have dialled a classified number of the Australian Federal police Fraud Squad, but how can I help you? They then promptly hung up.

Yes this number called and I didn't answer-they don't leave a message and now I know why!

*static* long wait.... "Hello my name is Clara, I am calling about my internet with Telstra"

I don't have internet with Telstra. I hung up

Caller: "VicRoads"

Female with Indian accent claimed to be from VicRoads advising there was suspicious activity on my account. When I questioned more she was adamant she was from VicRoads. I said if she was calling from VicRoads to provide me with my licence number. She hung up on me.

Make voice asking about one payment on Ebay - $1600

SCAM!!
