Indian guy, said he was from the bureau of Statistics, started asking personal questions
I started to ask him questions & he hung up on me!!

Missed call, no message left. Tried to call back and the automatic message says “service is temporarily unavailable, unable to call this number” and hangs up. Scam callers.

I do not know what his real purpose was but he knew my name and said he was from Cairns Regional Council. Asked my marital status, age group, if I have been out of Australia for the last 10 years then I stopped him midway asking what was this for again? Said survey for population and he’d ask one more question and he’d be out of my way. Last question was if I own a property or paying mortgage. Told him I was just renting and said thanks. So dodgy!

Called me then immediately hung up. Extremely annoying, have now blocked this number

Said she was from my local council. Asked relationship status, age group, if I’d been out of the country in the last two years, and if I thought the rising cost of living had affected my lifestyle???

Asian sounding fella, says he was from Australian Bureau Statistics.
Asked questions about age group, marital status and employment. When I answered self employed, he didn't sound overly happy and told me that next time I should only answer with the choices given, full time or part time, then hung up.
Sounds dodgy to me

Has rung twice in last week. Silenced by my phone each timecand no message left. SCAM?

Bluetooth answered before I could decline. Said hello and they hung up...

This caller did not leave a message. If no message, why ph back.

Dodgy Statistics company asking personal details.

She sounded asian and said she was from my regional council wanting to do a short survey on the population. I told her that this was the fourth time someone has called me and to take me off the list. She hung up before I could say "the list"

Did not answer at first then just laughed loudly and hung-up, Bad caller has been black-listed on my phone and caller blocked totally.

Picked up, said hello, they hang up. Top notch spam stealing my valued seconds of life.
