Caller: Overseas call centre

Difficult to understand what they were talking about but something about cheap internet and energy plans. They mentioned NBN as well. Just hang up!

Number Keeps ringing even though I have it blocked, I ring back and it says it's disconnected

I blocked after I called them telling them to stop calling or I will sue them.
They still won't stop calling.

Caller: Probably Indian Scammers

There's silence then there's the call centre audio sound file, we all know that by now. Its a short burst sound, a short whoop or whhherp sounding kind of sound, which comes up and then there is either silence or, the background prattle and noise of a busy Indian call centre.
I provide an uneasy pause of silence which the caller follows by either
A. Hanging up, or
B. They start to speak in a most determined manner, in which case I, hang up (or hit the mute button and countdown the time they take to hang up)

I just block it

calls daily, sometimes more than once if I don't answer, but if I do answer they just hang up... very annoying :)

rang back and had message that call couldn't be connected. Please check the number and call back again. Obviously a marketer, who doesn't want to identify themselves.

They accidentally left a short voicemail that sounded like an international call centre…
