she was trying to locate a Peter XYZ who lives on Waratah ave and apparently my name came up,but my name is not Peter.

They run under a couple of different names. The guy on the phone was a complete knob. Until around October 2019, I was being chased for a debt for a company I used to work for. I was listed as a secretary on the company paperwork and clearly I was the only person they could contact. They were calling me daily, but refused to listen to me. I was not responsible for anything to do with the company. Turned out, the debt wasn't even real, it was a mistake! Took the financial services ombudsman to get involved before it was sorted out and took around 2 months to stop them bothering me.
Today, they've called AGAIN for the exact same reason. Absolute weirdos. Won't give any information until you confirm your details on the phone, though. How do I know who they are? Plus, they're calling to talk about something that's been dismissed because it wasn't even real. Morons!
Look them up on Google, they've been in the news a fair bit about their unfair practices and for misleading, harassing and fraudulent conduct! Even registering a new company while one was in receivership to do the exact same thing!

I called the number back and when answered no company name just the person's name asked who they work for and no answer wanted me to identify myself first.
