I'm on a "do not call" register, but that doesn't seem to matter as I still get numerous calls. I don't begrudge giving money to worthwhile charities (Salvos, etc), but can't stand when they call me for more. I'll give if I feel like it. Number blocked.

They hung up when I answered

I have blocked them. It appears once you donate money your contacts have been given out for further harassment. I have been getting calls starting with 0408 daily for a fortnight now. I have a severe anxiety condition. I have phone permanently on silent because of scum like these dodgy gutless organisations. I have texted back I am on a do not call register and to no avail!!

They called, I answered, they didn’t speak and then they hung up. Number now blocked.

I've found since registering with the Do Not Call register, I receive more call from random numbers and scan callers than before I registered.

Tried to block but number is invalid. Any number commencing 0480 is suspect

Their answering machine says they are “Clever Contacts” calling on behalf of a charity
