When I called back it was a message stating ‘Thank you for calling Clever contacts’ - possibly a telemarketer or a scam

Sent my details to receive some information cards on children illnesses. They started trying to convince me to set up a regular donation.

I've been receiving lots of calls from '0480' mobiles recently. I keep blocking the numbers and new ones keep calling.. I never answer and they don't leave a message (each time I search the number, I read that they are from clever contacts). I did answer once and was told they were calling from the RSPCA. They were asking me set up a regular donation.

They keep calling I block them and they keep calling with new phone numbers! Why don’t they go and get a real job and leave us all alone

Called, left no message. I've suddenly started receiving a lot of calls from numbers similar to this one - 0480 0xx xxx which I never answer, and they never leave a message.

I got a call from this number in February and now they're back. They didn't bother to utter a word back then either. I've also had a nuisance call from a similar number 0480 088 958), undoubtedly the same conscienceless pests who don't give the proverbial what you are doing when they invade the privacy of your home. I'm sick to death of this plague.

Caller: Clever Contacts

Rang the number back and they said I had contacted 'Clever Contacts' and if I was returning a missed call it was likely they were calling on behalf of a charity they were representing.

Caller: Forgot her name

She knows my name and she is calling from cancer council asking for donation. Bargaining from $10 to $3 every week, that got me suspicious so I look up the this number

Just block it

Don't know who they are as they never leave a message. My phone pops up to say the number is suspected spam so I didn't answer. Seems from other posters, this was a smart choice

No message left. Blocked contact after checking this page.

If people/companies had to pay a $1 fee everytime they didn't leave a message it would stop all these nuisance calls, wouldn't it?

It seems that this harassment will never stop.
I picked up the phone when this number called (not intending to speak), but no one spoke and I heard the sounds of what seemed to be a call centre in the background. It was almost certainly a scam call.

I didn’t answer. Looked like scam call.

Clever contacts possibly. No msg left

Same thing happened to me. Message identified them as Clever Contacts.
