Told me I had won a prize - $100 Dan Murphy, Netflix for a year, or $100 Bunnings. Then said I wasn't eligible because I was over 58. I have very little money so that's heartbreakingly cruel.

Not a scam. Financial advising company.

I also just received this same phone call saying id won one of those prizes. But then needed to know all of my personal details…?

Have multiple calls from this number 3-4am in the morning. I answer the 2nd one just incase it's an emergency... and without me saying anything it just hangs up after a few seconds. But they still called more times after.

Told me I entered a draw for an iPhone and other things and she said she has 'good news', that's when I hung up because I never put my number on competitions on the internet because I HATE SPAM and SCAM CALLERS

Scam - do not answer

Called saying she was from BeLouis Investments. I'd entered and won a competition and could either have a $100 bunnings voucher, $100 dan murphys or free netflix for a year.
I asked her which competition this was as I don't remember entering one and she couldn't tell me. She said it could be up to 12months ago (which instantly set off alarm bells for me)

She then said she would like to confirm my details and had my maiden name on file - I've been married 9years! I def knew then something was up then...

She assured me it wasn't a scam and worked for a legit company, however I know better and knew the deal (dealt with scammer before). I asked her to remove my name from the data base and hung up and have blocked the number on my phone (which was a mobile number - they could be calling from a landline if legit). Don't give your personal details or confirm anything!
