Called me twice with no message. I have my phone set to silent calls now unless they’re in my contacts as I’m tired of all these spam calls

Caller: Not sure but suspect re Insurance

This is exactly why I don't like calling regarding Health Insurance policies. You then get hounded - be decent, leave a message, say why you are phoning and if I want, I will return the call. So - won't be joining any Health Insurance for the time being!

I presume a scammer of sorts, usual call, no message left as usual!

Caller: Heavy accent, if they gave name I did not understand it

Stated they were doing a very short survey quickly stated they were not selling anything, emphasised QUICK. Only about 4 questions - about health insurance. When they asked which private health fund I was in I declined to identify it as it sounded like a set-up for a marketing pitch to change funds. I answered all other questions.
One question was which I considered more important, lower premiums or higher coverage. When I answered "a combination of both", he did not seen to have an appropriate category to put that answer in. Genuine surveys always have other options apart from yes/no, especially when presented by an unskilled tele-operator just following instructions.
Last question he listed a few government/defence health funds and asked if I was in them which I did answer.
He then asked for a first name - when I gave my VERY common first name he did not know the name and asked me to spell it.
I suspect if I had answered the question that the cost of premiums was the more important issue to me, that I would received a follow-up call from a market selling lower-cost health insurance.
I don't believe this was a scam but was not 'just a survey' as it purported to be.

Went through to message bank. I could Hear background noise but no message left. Now Blocked.

Unsolicited call. I didn't speak upon answering. They hung up without saying a word. I immediately called back to hear a pre-recorded message saying it's 'Aussie Protect" working on behalf of multiple institutions but would not take my call as it's not urgent??? WTF??
