Answered the call having seen the number come up a few times prior.
Picked up the call (heard a faint connection to "agent") and waited for them to say something. Nothing was said after 60 seconds so i hung up
Definitely a nuisance call

SPAM and/or potentially SCAM.
They said that is a survey company for financial services and start asking for your details.
They tried to luring you to give an ipad or laptop for those details.
Be careful.....

Scam Call Number Blocked Grrrrrr

When I picked up I could hear faint talking in the back ground but when I kept saying 'hello?' they hung up

Called saying I had won a Laptop or $100 voucher from a survey I had nominated myself in. But of course needed to verify my personal information. Hung up and blocked. Beware!

Caller: 0480 051 998

someone name Melissa called. She checked my first name and last name, and said that i have won in a competition. I said I have not participated in any competition. She said: you might have click on a link that entered you to a competition and you are our lucky winner. What would you like a google home money or a laptop. haha. then she said I need to ask you a couple of questions, so I can send you the laptop. I was thinking she will ask my address and then my bank account which is definitely a spam. I did not response , then she said, because you do not respond my question I have to hang out! :DD then, I said No Worries. Keep Laptop for yourself!

I called back with my outgoing number blocked and heard a message saying "number no longer in service".
American accent ! strange ?
Called back using my number un-blocked and Telemarketers answered.
They knew my name ! From a marketing list ?
BEWARE !!

Caller: Different person each time they answer

Call back from any phone and tele-marketers answer and they know your name, from a list?
Block your outgoing number on the same phone, call again and you get a message that the number is no longer in service.
Suspicious it is American accent.
Try a third time from the same phone and tele-marketers answer again.

SPAM

Called back and said the number is not in service.

Called this no. back, after a silence a telerecording of male asian voice said....” your call is important to us, stay on the line & an agent will be with you shortly”.... then silence, no one picks up - SPAM, Pls Block.

I called back number 0480 051 998 it says the number I have dialed is not in service anymore.
