Caller: Scammer

I got sent the Hi Mum Scam Text message (again) where scammer is pretending to be an offspring with a new phone number wanting contact via WhatsApp where they'll ask for money.

Dodgy numbers below:

0480 046 553 - scam number for whats app
0455 237 989 - number text came from

Scam text message:

Hi mum I'm texting off a mates phone I've dropped mine and their phones about to die can you message my new number on WhatsApp 0480 046 553 it is urgent x

Caller: Scammer

Uses the Hi mum ive smashed my phone. Can you whatsapp me heres my new number 0480 046 553 x, it is urgent please (also uses the number 0459 484 737) Block. And don’t click any links from these numbers.

Hi Mum scammer. Surely the Telcos and Police can track down these criminals. 0459 484 737 & 0477 698 397 are also numbers they purchase off our "look the other way" Telcos.

I've received similar from 0459 288 671.
