Caller: A person claimed to be Lee from RSPCA He said he was from RSPCA and asked if I wanted a free Pet Safety Kit with tips to keep my pet happy and safe, and have messaged me twice (two days in a row). I cannot see how RSPCA, with most staff being volunteers, would have time to do these messages. It sounds like a scam to me. I did not reply to any of the texts.

Caller: Jodie Got the same messages as most:
Hi, it's Jodie from RSPCA. We've developed a Pet Safety Kit with tips to keep your pet happy & safe from harm. Respond YES to get your free copy. Unsub: STOP
I replied YES and then got this:
As a fellow animal lover, we thought you might be interested! We'll be in touch shortly to arrange delivery of your free kit. Thanks, Jodie.
Once I got this second message I realised it’s probably a scam. Not sure though, can’t confirm!

Caller: A text was received from RSPCA I am a member of pet insurance so I thought it was legit it is the same message as above mentioned text from RSPCA. I said yes to the starter kit I had doubts so shouldn’t have. I imagine this is how Scanners confirm it’s your number to pass on to other low life Scanners. I’m going to call RSPCA to check.
