Another classic superannuation comparison scam call. Do not give them your information and report same to ASIC, APRA & ACMA as well as Scamwatch Australia.

Caller: Andrew Payne

Called regarding Super review.
The company Andrew stated he was from, I believe was, Super Services Australia.
I Was stated they received my name from ASIC asking for a super review.
They then proceeded to inform I would be working with Honeywell Company and the contact there would be Jessie.
Was lovely to begin with, until I questioned them regarding misinformation, I felt I was receiving.
1st claimed to be a free assessment of my Super
2nd, then informed me it was going to cost me 4k+ for the "free info" (a once off fee OR i could chose an ongoing yearly fee of 2.7k+ fee.)
3rd, then informed "I had misunderstood". There is no OR in the fees, it was both the 4k+ and ongoing fees of 2.7k+
4th, when stating these concerns, Andrew became defensive. I advised that this made me feel like it was another red flag to work with his company. and stated he was canceling my account and to expect a call from his team.
Was hopeful this was going to be a win, unfortunately this ended in feeling uneasy regarding the pushback after voicing my concerns for all the pricing changes.
Felt that if a person is dealing with large sums of other people's money, there needs to be a maturity in dealing with the hard questions that they could potentially ask.
