We disconnected our foxtel box and this number kept ringing us to convince us to stay. Finally got sick of the phone call and told them to Piss off.

Got a call from 0480 040 255 , said hello line was silent , I cancelled foxtel yesterday and reading other comments I'd say it was foxtel.

I also cancelled Foxtel yesterday and have now received a phone call from this number today. Didn't answer and no message was left. It was hard work convincing Foxtel I wanted to leave and that was annoying and a time waster in itself. Thanks to the above comments, I know this number is BS.

I’ve had several calls from 2 mobile numbers which I did not answer! Is this greedy company honestly so determined to keep their once loyal customers that they literally continue to chase & pester you AFTER you’ve unequivocally told them you are no longer prepared to continue being ripped off with sh*tty repeated content & more ads than free to air tv? I also quit Foxtel 2 days ago after more than a decade! They deserve to lose customers & it’s insulting that they offer these cheap deals only when you tell them you’re leaving! There’s no incentive for loyal customers to stay! I hope they go bust!

My husband and I both ignored many calls from this number which our phone service marked as possible spam. I checked here and saw all the comments and we too had just cancelled Foxtel. I decided to answer one call and the guy did identify as being from Foxtel and wanted to offer us a cheap deal. I said no and hung up. When we cancelled they already offered us a cheap deal but we said no then also. It will be interesting to see if they continue to try calling when we have said no twice.

Thanks so much for that info - I’ve had Foxtel for 25 years and have been disgusted with the advertising and the repeat’s for a long time now - I finally got around to ringing and canceling my subscription a couple of days ago! This number has been calling relentlessly ever since - I had no idea that they were connected until I read your message! So needless to say, I’ve now blocked the number! Thanks again!

Third time calling saying Foxtel and why you cancel. Why does this company operate this way. The third time they called they did not respond to my hellos.

I also cancelled my foxtel subscription yesterday. I just got a call from this number, answered it but no response. Strange if it is Foxtel - why doesn't someone answer?

Based on what everyone else is saying, I am going through the same thing.
We were with Foxtel for nearly two decades and finally had enough of the shrinking programming and increasing costs and cancelled the service. I also had to go through over 20 minutes of hostile questioning before I was allowed to leave.
Now they just keep ringing.

Foxtel trying to offer a new deal because I cancelled. They asked to confirm my identity which I refused to do since they called me. He got quite angry with me. Deal was $121 less per month than what I was paying. Seems weird that they would reduce it that much. Ended up hanging up on them.

Several missed called from 0480 040 255 on both my mobiles didn't leave a message. Like most the comments above I canceled my Foxtel yesterday

FOXTEL !! Cancelled my subscription after 10 year. Have constantly called to ask why I cancelled. Informed them because I wanted to. Not good enough answer apparently ! Just continued to ask the same question. Still calling home and mobile phones. Have now blocked number. And so bloody rude the way they asked, as if it were personal. What a sh*t company.

Cancelled my useless Foxtel subscription on Sunday. Lo and behold, on Monday they are calling me. I didn't answer, but from the other complaints for this number I know it's them. Pissed off that that the Foxtel agent dragged his feet on the line for 22 mins begging me to reconsider when I called them on Sunday. Real waste of my time, and I'm absolutely glad I cancelled this useless company.
