Picked up the call and they quickly hung up.

I had a similar experience. I'm usually reluctant to answer when I don't recognise the number but happened to pick this call up. Female caller that knew my first name and asked to speak to someone that I've never heard of. Very weird and I feel like it's some kind of scam but not sure how.

They called and said can pass on a number they somehow knew or suspected I knew this person. And when keep asking what it was regarding they said personal matters deal with personal matter and want find her. It was two women. The friend they wanted me to pass the msg to I hadn’t spoke in a long time. They gave me a name davlynn (02) 8836 4388. This definitely some scam.

This person rang twice immediately one after the other. I did not recognise number so was hesitant to answer but did the second ring. She asked me to give information to some person whose name I never heard of. This person knew my name and would not tell me her name. When I asked her name she hung up. Very strange call.
