called asking if i lived at a certain address, address details were correct but apparantly they where looking for some one else but when i asked who they were or what company they work for or how they managed to get my phone number based on my address the would not provide any information about any of those queries.

Asked me if I knew a person. Had my first and last name. Asked me to take down his number and pass it on to this person, said it was a personal issue. Had a British accent was very insistent and would not disclose what it was about or if he was associated with a company.

Caller (Damon) gave me my neighbor's house number and name (who I am don't know) and asked me to deliver him a note in his mailbox requesting him to call (02) 8836 4344 asap. The caller knew my name and address.

I had a call from a male calling himself Javen. He quoted my address and asked if I knew the neighbor and quoted my neighbors name and address and asked if i could get them to call Javen on (02) 8836 4356 however the call came from phone number 0480 039 412. If this is a scam what are they trying to achieve? I am concerned about how they got my details and feel it wasn’t legally 🤔

I received a call from him and had the exact same conversation

Received a strange call today….A woman who knew my first name asked me if I had the phone number of a person I was once friends with on facebook…..she said they were trying to contact him, I told her I have no contact details for him and am no longer friends with him on socials……..shes said thank you and appreciate your honesty and hung up

I just had the same call from an ash

Called about looking for a Facebook contact of mine. Would not give details just a private matter and would give no more than first name said it was Ashley

Looking for personal information of myself and would not identify themselves other than “a private company in Sydney”.very suspicious

called asking if i lived at a certain address, pretending they we’re looking someone, asking to log to your facebook and check that have you got a friend under that name. They are trying to hack your phone and grab your info

Exactly the same as described above, I thought it is a complete number so I picked up the phone but just looking for someone else. next time should clarify who they were first

Debt collection, won’t provide any information usually but sent a message to my phone with someone else’s details 🤷🏽‍♀️
