Appears this is legit Energy Aus call using mobile dialer to connect with customers owing money. Its very annoying as I spent over an hour getting to bottom of it through their 133 number but notes on my account connected what I presumed was a spam call actually being them. Very stupid idea for Energy Aus using outgoing mobile number to contact customers with all the scams going around. I've made complaint via their complaints email and suggest people do the same.

Very assertive RoboCall (male radio voice) allegedly from Energy Australia which addressed me by name. Stated that it was about a "possible disconnection." Bill has been paid recently so did not answer this bullying, nonsense scam. Have received this type of call every few months for quite some time. Beware.

I logged into my account.
Then called them, as nothing was out of date on my account.
They confirmed it's a scam call.
So I reported and blocked the number

Didn't pick up but called me 3 times in 2 days. Know it's scam from checking this website. Not an energy Australia customer. They know my full name which is concerning

I missed a call from this number and called it back. Went through to Energy Australia, at first I was convinced this was a scam, particularly after googling the number reading this page. After questioning the guy and getting another landline number to call before divulging any info (which I googled first), it turns out it's actually legit. The person who I went through to was able to read out this mobile number to me and sent me a bill for proof. Suggested that in the current environment it's not smart to be having automated calls go out on mobile numbers.

Pretend from Energy Australia and ask you to press 1. Better hang up, you might be hacked ad soin as you press any asked button... Safe better than sorry...

Scam caller pretending to be Energy Australia. Do not call them back

Caller: "Private mobile phone" but i eventually found out it is a company phone no. Used by credit chasers.

Got spam call from this number, asked me to press 1 to continue, checked with Energyaustralia and found out they do not contact customers for overdue bills via phone call, block it at once!

Called Energy Australia - they have no record of this number and confirmed I had no amounts owing. This is a scam.

This is a genuine call from Energy Australia as I found when calling their 133466 number. I provided my feedback that it was not a good look for the company and was assured I will never receive such a call again

Claim to be Energy Australia trying to bill me for a property I left 4-5 years ago! I had informed them I haven't resided at the farm I sold 5 years ago! I keep getting emails from Energy Australia compounding this bill jacking it up although there are new owners, I am so frustrated!
