Caller: Scammers

Missed call, no message, rang back and got "number not connected", as above. I wonder if everyone getting these calls are victims of the Latitude data breach? Compensation for all and filter all calls from known overseas scam hotspots. Telco's need to be held accountable for allowing fake accounts/phone numbers.

Said they were from Telstra and they had to "activate" my 40% discount then said they would send me an email with a code that I'd need to tell them over the phone. I hung up before the email was sent.

Said they wanted to activate my Telstra bonus for the next seven months

They are running a scam. Called me and said they were from the Telstra Billing Department. Lol

Tried to say they would give me 40% off my mobile bills for 7 months. Got angry and started lecturing me when I said that they were being flagged as a fraud and that 40% off sounded unlikely. I hung up on him.

Said they were from Telstra and they offered huge discount - they had a very old email address - I asked them what country they were ringing from "Telstra" ???, then what number could I contact them on to confirm they were from Telstra - they hung up

Calling from “Telstra” saying to give you a 40% off for 7 months on your bill and asked for a code form my messages and it says code from “Microsoft” to change my password. When I questioned them they told me off. Must think we are stupid.

another SPAM call - flags as SPAM - same old companies using different mobile numbers - lve blocked about 10 or 15 of these spam numbers - ridiculous

Pretending to be from Telstra and then wanting to verify Microsoft code that was txted. Obviously trying to hack my email. Unsure where or how they got my email and name once’s questioned on the code thet allows access to my device he laughed and hung up.

Pretending to be from Telstra and wanting to offer 40% off mobile bill for the next 7 months. Then wanting to send text message with some activation code.
Once questioned does the code allow access to my phone he laughed and hung up. I Didn’t give code but when he rang he already had my email address info, name and phone number. Scammers are getting believable!
