just down right annoying , calling any time of day and night..

If we are paying to have a mobile service shouldn't our telcos provide us (their customers) with protection from these scammers?

Surely they can take on the responsibility of blocking permanently those numbers that people have been complaining / publishing over and over agian as illegitimate/ scammers on site like this.

Surely they have a data base of these numbers by now in Australia!!
.... Obviously they don't want to help as it is these same telcos that sell the services to these scammers to begin with...

The same number calling me all the time 0480 034 361. When I'm tried to call back, asked for my name and phone number and told me that will call back.

Just had a voice message from these guys a lady just said "Hi" and hung up.

Yep, they just call and put you o hold. Don't know the porpouse but I hand up after 20 seconds. It happens twice, so no more!

Had a number of missed calls and they never leave a message. When I call back there is a message "one moment please" and then music. Just block.

Phone identified the number as possible fraud. If it is a finance company the yes, it is definitely fraud. The government should be regulating them or shutting down their operation.

They have been calling me since April or so. Absolute nuisance! How do they get our number?!! I block so many of these pests. It's ridiculous.
