They (male caller) called me today, claiming to be Telstra. Sounded like a bogus tele marketer, so hung up.

Caller: Telstra

Wanting to change my phone plan???
Claiming to be Telstra???

They called 65 times but left no message. Who are they??

This happened in a two minute peeiod, around 6pm... Called for two rings then hung up, seemingly to prompt a call back. Called again, I let it ring out. Did not leave a message either time. Called again, I picked up in case of emergency.

Was a lady with maybe an Indian accent, indicating to me a good chance of coming from a call centre.

Asked if (withheld) was available. I asked what she wanted, which was to say that she came fron Telstra and that my phone contact had expired. Her information was correct so there is some linkage but I did not trust the call.

I disconnected the call.
Received an immediate call back, which I declined then I blocked the number.

Caller: "Telstra"

Had a call from this number claiming to be Telstra, knowing which phones were on plan and which ones had expired. Wanted a "yes" for these plans to be minimised from $79 plans to $60 plans. Had my date of birth. Only asked for my full name.
Called Telstra afterwards and they confirmed Telstra do not call from mobiles and this mobile number isnt even a Telstra number. And the employee number he gave me was not real

1-5-20 had a call from same number 0480 034 355 knew my mobile number when my plan ended and how much. Wanted me to change to an amazing new plan now. decided to wait until i can phone telstra myself to check. looks like was scammers

Caller: Telstra??

Male caller claiming to be from Telstra quoted both my business mobile numbers, advised I was out of contract and wanted to talk about a “new plan” Telstra have. Hung up when I told them I’d go back to my Telstra business centre.

Claim to be calling for Telstra. Wanting me to change my mobil plan. Won't give me their Telstra id number. Suspect them to be Scamers

Caller: Call Centre trying to flog Telstra products

Received a call from 00480 034 355 and spoke with a female identifying herself as being from the Sales Department of Telstra. She wanted to discuss the new plan for my business mobile. She quoted myTelstra account number and said she was ringing from the Sydney office. I indicated to her that I already have a Telstra Business Centre (see note below) in Melbourne and she denied that she was a Telstra reseller. When I asked for the landline telephone number that would connect me to her department, she kept telling me it was 0480 034 355. I indicated to her that was her mobile number and she advised that was the only number they had. My response was if I added the area code to that number, I would have 11 digits instead of 10 that we have in Australia and, therefore, I would not get through. Advised her that unless she could provide me with a real landline number, I was ignoring this calll and hanging up. She was polite and did not pursue the call any further. When are these people going to give up? Another number for my ever-growing list of blocked numberes.

On another note, if you are looking for a bona fide Telstra Business Centre go to a blue coloured Telstra Business Centre as the blue colour of the building represents Telstra employees. The orange coloured shops or buildings denotes Telstra resellers and these are usually found in shopping centres.

Caller: Kalkine Investments

This is a call centre running what I believe is a scam where they try to sell you stock tip/newsletter service. They quote their past success which is very easy to do. They have even managed to get quoted in the Sydney Morning Herald which doesn't say much for that rag. They will try to pressure you which no respectable investment advisory will do. Have a look at their website it is a slick operation.
