Had a text message saying my verification code is xxx at 9:54am this morning. Also not sure why

I also just got a link from this number with a code for my commonwealth super account. I immediately did not trust it and blocked it, but what concerns me is I received it after attempting to log into my super in the normal way, where I would normally get a pin from another trusted stream.

Caller: RACQ

Left a message saying the following:
“Your temporary My RACQ profile passcode is 782262. This code expires in 5 minutes. If you didn't make this request, please contact us on 131905”

Sent to me today at 1:25pm AWST and I am inWA, and the insurance company if QLD car holders

I would like to know who owns this number? It might belong to the message service. Various verification code notices from different sources seem to use this number.

It's a legitimate verification phone number, it's just not being masked properly. Every single one of these people who got a verification code, it was legitimate - someone else might be trying to log in, or they tried to log in and it sent in an un-masked fashion, but it's still legitimate.

Caller: Latitude scam

Said there was suspicious activity on latitude credit card and wanted to know code they had texted from this number. I didn’t give it and hung up. When I rang bank they confirmed it was not true. Cancelled card anyway

Yet another one which had fake MFA verification codes - blocked immediately after seeing all the other scams from that number here.

Got a text message from 0480 032 526. Apparently my request to have my crypto currency account merged was successful, but if it's not me call them straight away. Yep I'll get right on that.🙄

0480 032 526 sent an unsolicited SMS 'verification code". Sunday 27th August 2023.
Ignore, block, delete and report +61480032526 as an unsafe scammer.

I believe this is a scam text messages. Be careful everyone. They are getting smarter. The text message I received "Your verification code is ........"

I received a message "Your verification codfe is ######", I'm unsure where that came from. The number is genuinely used by Commonwealth Super Corporation (CSC) which sends a verification code when I log in the CSC website, the text is different.
