Caller: Survey Hub I googled them after they rang me about doing a mystery shopper type survey. I do a lot of surveys and have applied for mystery shopping so I was a bit suspicious but then again not really. I literally told her I wouldn’t give her any bank details because I had no real idea who I was talking to. She said that was fine and just went ahead and booked me in for someone to come to my house and show me a financial planning tool that was in its testing phase and of course my part in this is to report back if he did his presentation correctly. It sounds legit. They already knew my name , the only thing I told them was my address and how much I owe on my mortgage . But when I got off the phone I googled them and this site popped up with complaints this is not legit. Different mobile numbers used though. I find that a bit weird, I would think they’d put Caller ID off, on so they can’t be traced? I guess they don’t know anything more than any online bloggers or shops or whatever, I’m always giving my basic info to. So I hope it can’t be used as identity theft. But can’t see how! Anyone got any thoughts on why they would go about this if it’s a scam? What’s the purpose?

They rang me to say l enquired about bring a mystery shopper, which l didn’t ... so l say scam.
