Caller: NBN call

I got this recently as well. They wanted to verify payment details. I hung up on them. NBN do not sell their services direct to the public! You have to go through an internet provider who provides the internet service to you. Definate SCAM if they say they claim they are from the NBN and ring you for your payment details. Hang up if you are not sure and phone your internet provider direct and check with them.

Caller: The same phone number

You may have misheard them, I received a call from this number and it was from NIB. I told them I would rather hang up and call back from the official phone line as I don't want to hand my details out. I phoned NIB directly (From their website) and they confirmed the phone number belonged to their team. They were just reaching out to see if theres other services they could offer or if I was happy (No, I don't want to upgrade). Hope that helps.

NIB Health Insurance called - I transferred to another PHI, so they decided to beguile me back.

It’s NIB. Calling to update my payments. I have actually missed a payment but there have been a lot scam reports about this number and has previously been reported as a spoofed number.
I do not trust this, it’s very suspicious and they call 2-3 times a day. This is a SCAM, if you’re unsure contact NIB or whomever they claim to be (from their direct website number) and confirm with them.

Said they were from NIB to confirm my payment amount and see if I had any questions. Questioned why it came from a mobile number and she said standard practice as they work from home. Seemed legitimate but I didn't want to give any details over the phone, as they provide all the information by email already anyway. She understood. Agree with above commenter that this is very poor practice teaching by NIB their customers to trust dodgy looking inbound calls.

They rang I answered. Nothing but silence.

I changed health funds recently and now I keep getting three to four calls a day from this number. I eventually had to block it.....buzz off, I switched funds for a reason!

long silence after answering call, then the caller advised they were from nib to confirm my annual payment details. call did not seem legitimate so ended the call promptly.

Wish some people would get a life and stop annoying people.

Two calls no message left. So I blocked it.

Missed a call from this number while I was speaking to NIB (I had called them on their 13 number). Looked up this number and saw comments saying it was NIB! So weird that NIB would call me while I was currently talking to NIB.

I’ve received 4 calls today all from different numbers. Including this one. I am not with NIB or have ANY health insurance I have also never received scam phone calls so maybe they finally found my number

It is NIB, not a scam or marketing, the number is legitimate & genuine call for membership/policy check from NIB regarding upcoming scheduled payment arrangements

Had various missed calls from this number, so called NIB on their company number (131 642) who had verified that they have tried to contact me to verify my details and to ensure that I understand my policy. Legitimate call according to the NIB contact centre.
