I didn’t pick up but they’ve called twice now. Once I called back and heard an automated voice message which sounded suspicious.

Called to say they were doing a survey about the impact of COVID for the Aust Bureau of Statistics. Asked some YES/NO questions if I was aware of govt relief packages, if my job had been impacted, then started asking about the value of super (declined to answer) and if I was aware I could draw funds early, if I had a mortgage (declined to answer) then wanted to verify my personal details at which point I ended the call.

called me asking to answer questions with yes or no and asking me to confirm my name. They said it was about super. I became suspicious at the end and hung up

Fraud. It said called from Australia super. Dropped off the line rudely when I asked them send me superannuation details via email to prove they are reliable.

I received this call, they hung up when I answered. I called back. They had my name & told me that my superannuation would be cancelled if I didn't have insurance. I sniffed scam right away and hung up.
