It was about conducting a financial review on my super. Said I wasn't interested. Have now block that mobile no. that appeared on my mobile.

Caller: Claiming to be from Australian Government National Review Team & ASIC

Three calls - 3 different numbers: 0480 024 782 + 0480 024 762 + 0488 863 373
Claiming to be from "Australian Government" National Review Team - Re Super
Claiming to be from "National Review Team" ASIC Financial Planners - Re Super
Claiming to be from "National Review Team" ASIC Australia'n' now offering Mortgage Review Services on behalf of Australian Regulators (This is FAKE) This is a SCAM - "I recorded the calls". BE WARY ... this is a serious scam for those who hear the word ASIC many think this is a validation - it is NOT. The callers will answer every question with same response - "Australian" "ASIC". If you ask for a website, their response "a special agency of the Australian ASIC" or "a mortgage specialist with special clearance from the Company Australian ASIC will call you back" and where do these callers claim to be based 'Australian' - (no typos here)

asking about super. another scam for the elderly. Had my name told them to get stuffed!

the asian lady said she wanted my personal details and my super balance ,, and which bank i use i hung up

Caller: Someone wanting to inform me about inactive super accounts

Very pushy. Wanting to ask me a few questions about my super and if I was eligible for inactive super account with the upcoming super changes.

Asking abour my super and do I have financial advisor

Caller said that they were from the National Review Team. Asked them what the National Review Team do, and they said that were calling in regards to the announcement from the government and could they have my first and last name.
Told them that they called me, they should have my details and that they weren't going to get my name. They hung up. Hope they call back so I can string them out a bit longer next time.

Goes straight dodgy music and an American computer generated voice saying hold for the next agent ...

Caller: Someone claiming to be from government review team

Asking if I have 50-60K in my Super account so they could help check if I haven’t been charged extra for my super insurance. Dodgy. Didn’t sound legit because they hung up as soon as I said I don’t have that much in there
