Scam caller, hang up and block them

Had this number call me 3 times in last 2 days. No voicemail messages left. Blocked them as I'm sure it's some telemarketing call.

Some dodgey indian guy pretending i have an electricity bill. SCAM DO NOT FALL FOR IT

Scam caller talking with an accent talking nonsense about energy bills. Block them. I do not know how this number can stay active and how on earth they were able to register the caller ID with any Voip apps.

just block the number or dont answer.. simples

i got hung up on and i called back for Optus to advise the number had been disconnected.

Probably scam. Indian guy very hard to understand. Something about electricity.

First call received 24/1/21, hung up before answering and returned call. No answer so blocked number.
I've had 17 calls up to 18/01/22 and still counting.
Telco's must be making a fortune without any concideration for the public.
Suprised to hear earlier post regaring Optus claiming this number being disconnected!

This lot have been spamming my Oldman for the last fortnight if not longer ..... just blacklisted(blocked) the number

Optus advises that the number has been disconnected, yet they ring me two to three times every day. How do you stop them?

Tried calling back, but number can't be connected. Probably Electricity seller or Telemarketing Co.
