Claimed that I entered a competition months ago and that I was entitled to attend a free seminar.

Caller: ‭0480 017 432‬

They called and said they own Microsoft. I said that’s impossible because I own Microsoft. They then hung up.

Caller: Scammer

I answered the phone (my Samsung come up with Potential Fraud) I did not say anything left the caller hangin' they hung up within 2 seconds. Then I Blocked the number.

Claiming to be custodians for an online competition I supposedly entered. Fraudulent do not answer!

I called back number 0480 017 432 it says the number I have dialed is not in service anymore.

Caller: Male voice with an Australian Accent

Knew my name. Said I had won a prize in a competition that I had entered a few months ago and could claim the prize at a free seminar. Said the seminar was in Canberra. ( I lived there a few years ago). Asked him if they would fund my flight from North Queensland. I hung up on him.

Said that we’d entered a competition and they have good news. Waste of everybody’s time.

Saying I entered a coles survey to win and iPhone7 and that I’ve won it , too bad I told him that I have an iphone8 and told him I’m not stupid piss off 😂 just blocked the scammers

Not a scam but to get you in to sell you something !
Pisses me when you answer and the auto-dialler cuts you off !
At least these people are working not bludging on taxpayers or sponging
on the street to support their habit

Called them back and they knew my name, said I had entered a competition with one of the businesses apart of Coles Group or Wollies Group. Said that they were holding an hour long seminar in my area (stated a place that was actually close to my home) and if I attended I could win a laptop. The seminar was obligation free and would be at no cost to me. After politely declining due to other commitments for the date they specified I was advised they would be in my area again in the next 6 months and requested my permission to put me on a call back list to notify me of date, time and location.

Said that I had entered a competition last year in April and they work with all majors groups in Australia. When I kept questioning she told me that because I was condescending I couldn’t win anything and hung up. 😂
