I called back the number 0480 017 415 and reached vm but couldn't hear the company name

Caller: PWS

I received 2 calls from this number, 1 at 7pm at night. She knew my name immediately and said she was from PWS and they were hosting a “Free night in Robina”. What for I don’t know but did not sound legit. I hung up.

They knew my name and asked if I need aged care. I said no and then they said theyd call back in 3 months. Sounds like a scam.

Calling constantly without leaving a message. I assumed if they can't leave a message, must be telemarketing .

just answer by saying hello this is scamwatch you are now being recorded and this call traced. no more calls.

She called me twice and talking about internet seminar or something. She knew my name too.

Caller: Financial Services company

Said I'd completed a survey and won a phone - knew my name, and that I qualified as a home owner to hear some bloke speak...blah blah blah...premiere invest...blah blah blah. Cut her off mid-sentence and said I'm not interested. She wished me a nice day and hung up. No agro, just an annoying, unsolicited call.

Knew my name immediately. All very dodgy. Annoyed when I didn’t engage with them.

Caller: Wealth Managers Australia

Telemarketers

Pretended to be from a company called Wealth Management Australia. When asked if they were offshore she insisted the are Australian. When asked if they are a licenced financial advisor she insisted they dont need to be. She then got quiet terse with me and told me I needed to listed. I then hang up with her still speaking at full pace.

They left me a VM, he only mention he was calling from PWS gold coast. He also knew my name.

rang back & went to voice mail of John - PWF - Premier Walls & fencing Gold Coast

Two missed called from this number this week. They never leave a voice message, i assume it's sales/spam.

Keeps calling me without leaving a voice mail or replying to messages.

Caller: Unknown

Answered, short silence then hung up.

Rang back and wouldn't give a name of company worked for, just answered with hello? no details given

I just called them back - they are selling property/finance/investment options etc.

Said I won an iPad but had to come to a seminar free of cost. When I said I couldn’t attend he got quite short with me speaking over me insisting I come. When I said I won’t be in the country he hung up on me without saying anything. Just a sigh...lol. No thanks I didn’t even enter a competition 😖. I feel bad for the elderly who believe this or for anyone who is trusting of these calls..
