I rang back the number 0480 015 253, spoke with someone who hung up right away Melanoma Research Foundation

I had a missed call from 0480 090 253 I called them back and it says CleverContacts.
So I looked it up and it is a firm in Qld that help many different charities with their calls and fundraising etc

Started with recorded message and then hung up

Called me on Feb 6th. I missed the call and did not recognise the number so Googled and landed here. Blocked the number in consequence. Today (10/2) I received a pro-forma account delivered to my home address in a plain windowed envelope with no logos, return address or printing of any variety alleging "Thank you for your $50 pledge to purchase 25 tickets in our fundraising raffle".

This organisation is registered in NSW (https://www.acnc.gov.au/charity/3661d4ec21774a5b36d8d55c8d8af106) but the invoice makes no mention of that fact - all the references are to WA, creating the impression that it's a WA-local charity. The enquiries number 1300 383 015) appears twice on the form plus once incorrectly. The document is most unprofessional and appears to have been produced on a colour laser printer at the end of life - there is a great smear along one edge. The fine print includes the words "Conducted under the authority of WA Charitable Fundraising Licence 21403 Catch Music". Eh, what? "Catch Music"??

I'll be contacting the authorities in the morning.

Had a missed call from 0480 015 253 so I called them back. Didn't answer and then they called back but it sounded like someone pocket dialled me. They rang another couple of times but didn't respond, again sounded like a pocket dial. I texted them to ask who it was and they replied "Not telling" so I replied asking them to stop calling me, and then blocked the number.
