Caller: Claiming to be from Vodafone

Was asking for (name not recognised) to call about a Vodafone account. Have had similar messages previously and none relate to any accounts I hold, so I suspect bogus calls.

I called back number 0480 013 862 was put on hold music but no one answered the call.

Silence after I answered quietly. So I burped loudly into phone and their end hung up immediately. I get a lot of these calls, always from different numbers.

bit of a bitch this team. they call you like you owe months and months of debt

yeah. not sure if this was a hack. claimed it was a Beau from a debt recovery agency about a phone account, but my provider didn't recognise it coming from the same provider or even that debt recovery had began yet. changing my number now
