Caller: Information Connect Received a call from "Anna" from 0480 006 717 (She sounded Philipino) regarding the recent government changes to the superannuation and insurance policies?. She said they were calling customers to make sure they were aware of the changes and that I wasn't getting overcharged on my super and insurance. She said it was a free service and all I had to do was answer four questions. 1. Was my name .....?, 2. have I been working full-time in Australia for the past 13 years? 3. Was my age between 27 and 57? 4. The State did I live in? She told me a financial adviser from the company will contact me tomorrow, is that ok? She was very quick and very convincing at first. I never usually fall for scammers. I hang up! Sounds like a big fat scam!

Caller: Anna Received a call from Anna 0485 858 162 from Information Connect today who said she was calling to inform me of policy changes to my super. She sounded like she came from the Philippines and she was really pushy on the phone. She kept saying, " I know you're really busy but we're nearly done. All you need to do is answer three questions'. When I asked her to slow down and tell me more about why she was calling and the company she was calling from so I can check she isnt a scammer she hung up on me. The first question she was asking me was if I was employed full time which I refused to answer. I was googling information connect while she was talking to me and the webpage looks really fake - https://www.informationconnect.net/

Caller: Anna Received a call today from 0485 858 162 from Anna from Informationconnect. Accent sounded like she was from the Philippines. She said she was calling to inform me of policy changes in my superannuation and if I was aware of them. She was quite pushy, "I know you are busy, but we're nearly done. All you have to do is answer three questions'. The first question was, if I was still employed full time but I told her, I can't answer your question until you slow down and explain a bit more about who you are and why you are calling about my super. At this point, she hung up on me. The website (https://www.informationconnect.net/ ) looks really fake too! I think this is a scam...

Caller: Information Connect received the call from the same no. same lady (Anna) to inform me the gov. changes to the superannuation and insurance policies. She said "this is a free service and not to sell goods" every time when I politely said "I'm busy". So I just hang up. Anna spoke very quick and pushing. so, dont even answer this no. I've blocked it.

Caller: David Ditto experience, except was my age between xx and 62. I asked for a website. David gave me 'infoconnect.net', but it's actually www.informationconnect.net. That website says, "Information Connect Client Notice: Have you received a call from our team offering a no-obligation review of your superannuation? Just to confirm, we are not Financial Advisers and do not conduct the review ourselves. If you have received a call, it is most likely as part of our current national marketing campaign". This internet address is not listed on Scamwatch but I blocked the number in any case.

Didn't pick up as it's an unfamiliar number. If they really want to get in touch, they'll email or text. Thanks for contributing to this site!

Caller(Male) asked me if I was working in Australia and asked if I was receiving Super and if I was in a specific age category. Received call on 27 July 2022. Felt suspicious. Did not divulge much. Potential Scam.

Person called saying something about answering three yes/no questions about super annuation for some free review. It was very confusing. I would urge anyone who receives this not to reveal any specific personal information. Probe to find out more about who they are.
