I received a missed phone call from 0480 005 097 and they did not leave a message. If it was a legitimate phone call they would have left a message.

Surely with today’s technology scammers can be at least prevented from calling your number. Or is it just because my phone is only an Apple and they don’t protect their customers ,?

Spoke in Chinese to me pretending to know me. Clearly a scam.

Caller: Unknown chinese guy

Speak a lot chinese to me and sounds like a prank call. The background was noisy and seems he was with his friends. Childish. Dunno where he got my number was creepy and uncomfortable. Cannot call back

Caller: Electricity spam call

Said I have credit of $250 to use on electricity with some provider. Didn’t give details of who, Indian call centre. Went on mute and she probably spoke for 2 mins before asking if I was there.

Caller: Said his name was John (obviously fake)

Commission salesman hoping to churn energy providers/retailers from his call centre base in India (using an Aussie mobile number)

Caller: Indian call centre using an aussie mobile number

Energy provider attempting to scam me into switching to his company. He was really after my personal details because he didn't even know my name or address.

Nuisance caller refuses to leave messages.

No message left. Called randomly in a Saturday. Highly unlikely to be legitimate

Calls leaves no message, won’t pick up on return call. Def spam
