Cold call NOT HAPPY JAN....

From NIB Insurance. I saw an attractive online promo on NIB Insurance, filled out the form up to my details, and was waiting for the quote to appear on screen but it buffered for over 10 minutes, so I closed the page. A couple of minutes later, got a call from them. I did the online quote cos I didn't want to speak to anyone (no time and they can be pushy). I intended to do my own research and wanted to think about y options at my own pace so I did not appreciate the call and this tactic.

Caller: Compare the Market

I used the Compare the Market website recently and it was them trying to finalise a health insurance sale for me. I did the research online so I didn't need to talk to people, so I did not appreciate the call.

Went to voicemail, received call right after looking at NIB

Caller: NIB health funds

this number called claiming they are NIB health insurance but didn't have any details that I have filled online to get a quote and claiming they will give me a better price than online!

Caller: NIB Insurance

This IS a call from NIB. I think some people have just forgotten they’ve filled out a quote online lol.

Claiming to be NIB Insurance, and then they say "you the customer enquired about our services". I don't know the scam, but it's not NIB and it's not legit.
