Text saying I could pay a discounted amount on an amount supposedly owing to Optus. Optus confirms there is no such amount owing. Sounds like a scam.

Scam company posing as Panther Finance that make up a different outstanding debt every time they call.
Also send repeated texts.

Firstly a call. Answered and no one spoke. Called back number but got a disconnected signal. Came to this site to check out number and Received two texts one saying Ergon Energy savings of $1602.45 if I click the link within 24 hours. Second text within seconds from Origin energy offering Savings of $1602.45 if I click the link below. Dodgy much. I have received loads of calls in the past from this Panthera Finance. Once I’ve checked with the relevant people I have always discovered it is NOT REAL & is a SCAM….Beware, don’t supply any details.

Bombards with texts & claims of owing Otis money for a mobile phone. Never had a hone with Optus they’re way too expensive. Threaten to block your account unless you pay. Scum.

I called back the number 0480 001 219 and the person I spoke with said the company is Panthera Finance

Calling saying I owe money for a loan iv never gotten

Claiming I owe $2,953 to optus. This is an absurd amount of money even if I did have an optus account, but I don’t. They sent me a website link to a page that looks legit, DON’T FALL FOR IT!

I received a msg relating to this name so many times! "Hi ALANA, we're offering you a payment plan of $40 per fortnight to begin paying off your outstanding Telstra account today." with a website www.pantherafinance.com.au/customers....number to call 1300 722 974 I have not been with Telstra for a decade!

Caller: Someone claiming to be Panthera Finance

Dear ___ Welcome to Panthera Finance. We recently send you a letter explaing that your outstanding Enerbgy Australia account has been legally assigned to us. This means the outstanding amount of $124.40 is now owed to Panthera Finance. This letter contains important information and your account details etc etc.

I've received no letter and am not with Energy Australia, in fact my last 3 providers have been different companies.
