Caller: Prank caller

Rang me, when I said hello they hung up. When i rang their number back, they didn't answer, said their mailbox was full. Looks like scam artist.

Caller: They mentioned their name is Victor

They said they're doing a questionnaire for Coles. The question they asked was do you think nsw is expensive to live in? Do you think pensioners should get more money from the government?

The questions didn't line up with Coles company to me... And then when I hung up, they called me with this mobile number.

Got a call from this number and never picked up because I knew something was wrong 😑 people like this should just f*ck off

Doing a phone survey regarding the cost of living in Queensland. Answer "yes or no" only so obviously trying to get you to answer "yes" so that they can use your voice saying "yes" for other evil purposes. Also wanted to know my age group - 40 to 50 or 50 to 60.
Safer to block this caller!

This man claims to be calling from Coles doing some market research. As a trained and qualified market researcher, this would not meet any market research quality guidelines.

Pretending to carry out a survey, they are actually collecting personal financial details. They asked if I thought Sydney was expensive, if I thought I would be mortgage free by retirement. She asked if I was working or if COVID stopped me from working, asked what industry my partner worked in, I said she’d have to ask him and she settled for “white collar”. She asked if I was earning more or less than the Sydney average couple income of $150k. When I said ‘less’ she kept trying to get me to reveal what my income was. Next she asked me to value my home if it was more or less than $1M, again pressing for an actual figure. She was asking if I have mortgages on properties other than my own home. I had been playing along until this point, as she had said the survey would take 30 seconds. I should have asked who she was selling all this info to: it is a financial fact finding mission but started out sounding like those political surveys we got before the Aus election about whether you think the government is doing enough to keep cost of living down. DON’T GIVE THEM ANY REAL ANSWERS or you’ll probably have various investment companies calling you asking you to invest in property or shares or Bitcoin or self managed super, or worse.

I don't answer numbers not in my contacts. If the caller doesn't leave a message, I assume they are a scammer and they get blocked.

Used my name when saying "Hello". said he wanted to do a survey

Caller: Victor but with an accent so i could be wrong

He asked if I remember when I applied to do modelling and my partner works in a post office. Which neither of those things were ever true. He then spoke gibberish and hung up

He say his name is Michael (with a very non-english-name accent) and is doing a survey......

Missed the call. Rang back and got a message, 'this mailbox is full' so i just blocked the number

Had a call from someone from this phone number who said there name was Peter Parker and that my details had been hacked and I was about to be charged for something from Amazon that I didn't order, to avoid this charge he wanted me to download the remote desktop app and then give him access to my phone to fix the problem. Obviously I refused and he became a bit aggressive telling me that I really needed to trust him if I wanted to sort the problem so I hung up on him.
