Steve from Telstra rang at first thought it was a scam however he was able to identiy my account number and adjusted my account correctly.

Caller: Steve ‘Telstra’

This is a scam. Steve is not from Telstra. Do not believe him. He was offering to reduce plan and also offer more data. I don’t know how he has obtained personal information. He does not work for Telstra and is in fact calling from an Optus phone. Telstra said he may be trying to access mytelstra app to set up new phones.

Called mobile, said he was from Telstra. Knew my name, DOB, mobile number, and my husband's name and number. I felt pressured to agree to a plan change. He made it sound like it was just a courtesy call from Telstra, regarding increased data use at lower price for new contract, but it ended up feeling like I somehow agreed to something I should have questioned. He was very poorly spoken. I feel like I've been swindled, but am not sure how. His emphasis seemed to be on confirming personal details. Perhaps for onsale? (my speculation)

Said he was from Telstra repeatably and that they where changing my plan so I could save money, he new my DOB. I told him I am not agreeing to anything and to send me an email so I can see if he is Telstra. Never got the email.

Identified as Telstra. Rang Telstra when I got off the phone and said it was not a telstra rep. SCAM!

Caller identified himself from Telstra and said you and your wife pay $140.00 now for your mobiles.
We can now offer you $110 combined.
Googled his number and saw was scam.

Steve called my husband saying he was from Telstra. Had his DOB and said it was regarding a reduction in his Telstra plan and he would email, didn't get an email. Who do I call to complain?

Wanted to change my Telstra phone plan, and install an antivirus - I said "no".

Send an email but didn’t. When I called back answered the phone without saying company name.

this is a scam. claimed to be from Telstra but 'couldn't see' my details. Hung up when challenged.

Same message Gave his name as Lawrence- Telstra sales advised I was entitled to a new iPhone 8 ask for licence my licence, said i couldn't give it as I was driving, he said he would call back in an hour - no call back, lucky I checked this web site, how do you stop pricks like this??

I called back number 0478 788 880 reached voice mail but did not say for what company.
