I got an SMS from 0478 150 862. This is a mobile number. The message reads... myGov: Your income return of $1800.34 could not be processed due to insufficient information supplied please update immediately at Then a link to xx.xxxxx-xxxxxx-portal.xxx actual address is replaced with x but it *looks* almost legitimate.
Now this is strange because I'm retired (self-funded) and don't earn any income so I have no income returns either. I check my actual myGov account (it requires secure log-in with sms passcode). The link is different to above so this SMS is most likely fake, but very close to legitimate. The only thing they messed up is they forgot a full stop between 'supplied' and 'please' and 'please' has no capital, so this is the usual type of simple grammar mistakes that are made by lowly educated losers hoping to make it look legitimate. Try harder next time losers LOL!
