Don't believe this guy, he is a scammer, using name David from Simply Driveway
he uses this companies name, owners name and letterhead and even database for sample houses for you to have a look!!! There are few police cases against this scammer. So be careful!!!!!!! Do not transfer any money!!!

Same here. Caller pretended to be from a legitimate company, got the deposit then disappeared. Did anyone make a police report?

Calling himself David, he replied to an ad I placed on Hipages, sent me an invoice for the job and requested I pay the deposit in order for him to start. All fake scam, he uses legitimate businesses to scam people. Beware!!

He contacted me through Service Seeking claiming he’s a builder and offering me high paying jobs.

He contacted me on Service Seeking claiming he’s a builder with lots of work. Wants me to go meet his “clients” to help him out. He offered to pay good money for each visit. I bail out in the last minute after I Google his number. Not sure what’s his intention for doing this.

He quoted for concreting work using a legitimate concreting company, invoiced me for a deposit and changed the contact details on the invoice to mobile 0478 084 056 and a gmail address. Used a Bankwest BSB and account number.

Scammer , when i rang they hung up, i check aus post no parcel. There just Low lives. Do not click on any sms like this. This is the message they sent. I knew straight away it was a scam. Nothing like what im normally sent for parcels.

Hey. This happened to me too on the same day. Do you mind if I ask which suburb you were looking in? I am about to sign a contract and came across this as I was doing my due diligence research. I'm nervous as I haven't seen the property due to COVID. I'm calling the RTA for some advice also.

Got a message from someone supposedly from gumtree who saw my seeking rental ad. Definitely scammer. Didn’t even spell the suburb I’m looking in correctly 😂
