Claims they are calling from an Animal Welfare Foundation, they are wanting donations. They have been harassing my husband and I these past few weeks to the point my husband doesn't want to pick up the phone. Sounds like a bunch of scammers. Will report this number.

Caller: Woman said she was from the Australian Childhood Foundation

She was following a script and no matter what I said she would just start at the beginning again which made no sense. Sounded very dodgy.
Have read online that same number has been associated with asking for support to protect rainforests.

This number has called at least once a day, for the last week. I don't answer my home phone anymore, sick of these scammers. One actually abused me and called me a silly old woman, and told me I was stupid because she knew what she was talking about etc. These people are sick, and should get a real job instead of wasting our time

Answered Phone, No one was there, this number mostly calls twice a day.

Caller: Emma Grieve I think

She was demanding $30 to fund rainforest restoration - she sounded stressed - I asked her why she called my do not call number - got unsatisfactory answer - Explained I was formerly a Professor of Rainforest ecology and potentially very interested - she hung up

It then occurred to me it was a scam.

Received a call last night & today from this number. I did not call it back & have blocked the number.

35 automated calls in a minute from this number.Scam. Robocall. Blocked.

Caller: Rainforest appeals something - So called "Charity"

A person called Emma Grieve called saying that they were from a charity called Rainforest apeals something or other.
I asked were they got my number from and she read out a script.
I said that I was on the Do not Call List and asked again were they got my number form and then read out the same script as before which didn't answer the question.
I asked for their charity registration number and they hung up.

This is coming from a private number now but is still the same scammer.

Got one of these calls. When she said she was from something about children's foundation I simply told her sorry, i do NOT accept calls from charities and when she persisted I just hung up on her

Phoned twice today on our home phone. Our number is NOT listed in the White Pages!!! When I answer, nobody says anything. I can hear other chatter in the background. Assume it is a scammer!!! Hope I have blocked that number now!!!!!

Incredible, I had five missed calls on my phone when I got home from work, all from this number and all in the space of one hour.

Woman said she was Emma Grieve, representing the National Rainforest Federation. At that stage I hung up after asking her not to call this number again.

Persistant caller. Can only hear background sounds when you answer

Same problems as above. Phone rings every day or two - no message left. When I call number get message" The number you have called is not connected ..."

Regular calls from this number (Three today). Hangs up when I answer the phone.
