Same, but used gumtree email as the girlfriend, and then wanted my personal email...which i sent...but i don't link that to any Paypal or other account. Checked his email since Iit smelled phishy ... and here I am reporting MK Thompson the cockhead.

Invited me to join ‘when I work’ and gave an app link (which gave me a big clue it was a scam) Message finished with “kindly get back to him via email mthmps@outlook.-com. Please accept your invite to get your schedule.” More strange words indicating scam & there was nothing showing on my car ad on Gumtree. Hope this helps others

Same exact scam ... mthmps @ outlook.com on Gumtree car ad I had up there. Had a second one from someone else but will put here for those looking. No phone number just an email address from son inquiring for his mum on my car kimfreedoms1991 @ gmail.com. Asked for pictures and details. Was going to have car shipped to her. I told her all pictures and details were in the ad so if there was anything I didn't cover ask me. She immediately wrote back thanking me for the pictures I sent (which I didn't) and asking for bank details. I cancelled the ad.

Same as all above had a number text me asking to email mthmps @ outlook.com ended up saying he needed an agent to come collect as of his throat cancer surgery. Scammed $250 off me then also tried getting another $250 when I figured out what was going on he denied everything.

Same messages as received by others. I received a text message asking me to email regarding car for sale on Gumtree. Only posted ad about an hour before
