Scam with Westpac homeloan info, the Scammer is inside Westpac or has access to Westpac account info, this is very dangerous, have to be stopped

I got this text yesterday. Logged into Westpac when I got home, and the chat line staffer thought it could be a scam and gave me the number for the mortgage centre. They confirmed it was legitimate, one loan was overdue by a small amount. While I was on hold I changed my password just in case, but it was legit.

I reported this using the +64 number and having called Westpac, it is a legitimate call. My loan account was several dollars overdue, unknown to me. So it is legit.

Total scam. I don't have a Westpac account. Keep getting these every week & overdue amount keeps increasing, so it appears to be legit. IT'S definitely NOT!!

Caller: it was a text message quoted the last 4 digits of my accounts, asking me to ok a transfer

it must be a scam as I am not overdue on my payments, have had one of these messages before a year or so ago.. just ignore it
