I see this same mobile number says “they are from Westpac and ANZ”.

The message I received from the same number stated:
“You have a road violation record,
please verify it as soon as
possible:webic.me/t2tC”.

DO NOT click the link, it asks for your licence number and a creditcard to pay the road violation.

SMS claiming to be from Westpac, who I don’t bank with anyway. Saying that there has been suspicious activity on my account and to click on link provided to prevent further transactions.
I suspect the link contains malware or sends the individual to another site to enter their details.

Got a message saying my paypal account had been accessed from Africa. They asked me to call 1800 412 633.

Message said to click a link as fraudulent activity suspected and bank account frozen with a bank im not even with. Complete scam. Don’t click the link and just block. Your bank won’t contact you like that.
